I was working on a group pic of the girls, and one of the more active characters. But eh, effort. Opening commissions soon so i'll be even lazier on it :/

I won't be doing anything to the banner for a while tho. It's primarily for the arty sides of the group, so i guess the next chibi to be added would be Chole O: To be honest, when i'm not part of an RP i don't know who are really involved and active /too lazy to read some.

Okay, uhm...

Digital:

When I do digital art, I like to sketch it out on paper first, then scan it in and do everything else there. I have a bad habit of using a shitfuckton of layers, which I'm trying to slowly ween myself off of, and, uh... well, I used to use the mouse, but with simple one-character images, I favor my tablet. I haven't really done a big piece with my tablet yet, but the one I'm currently working on... I started it with the mouse, and tried to continue with the tablet and it just... the shading style clashed way too much. I may have to redo the colouring, which bites, but eh.

For pixel art, I will never use my tablet, only my mouse. I feel like I get more precision with I use the mouse for pixels, WHICH I FUCKING LOVE PIXEL ART, BY THE WAY! <333 I just mostly do small-scale pixels, so I don't know if I'd be able to do something FA avatar-sized. Comfortably at least.
Here's an example of my pixel shit:

♦ Mind the wierd pixels that linger on the outside, I still have no idea how to fix that...

And then I'll mix tradish with digital every now and then like, so. And also this if I ever have the drive to make a background.

Traditional:

My strong point.
Although I mostly enjoy sketching and doodling concepts (I would have probably flooded SH with my sketches if I wasn't worried about... well, spamming the group with boring sketches), but when I do more than sketching it's either:

A simple character picture, in which it has no background, and hardly any point. I use my Faber Castel india ink pens for lineart and then proceed to colour it with a combination of markers and my prismacolor coloured pencils. It's my fave combo, although I need a good set of markers. All I have are two shades of grey that came with my Faber Castel pens for lineart.
Some examples of this combination include:
♦ Mine and my best friend's fantrolls (dressed as characters from MÄR)
♦ A comic of another one of my fantrolls with a friend's (this is sort of a spoof)
♦ A pile of snuggle grubs

And every now-and-then, I might do a complete piece with my markers (or coloured pencils) such as:

♦ oops, fancestor trolls

A pencil drawing, which may or may not have some ink in there. These are usually vent pictures or something silly. And example would be:

♦ THIS ACTUALLY HAS A MEANING BEHIND IT, but it's so derpy. A lot of my friends say the sketchiness adds to it, though?

AND THEN, THERE'S THE HEAVY-DUTY SHIT!

Oil pastels and acrylic paints are my main weapons for full-on tradish pieces with backgrounds and composition and shit like that.
Though I still really need to practice composition, I've gotten better at choosing colour schemes. A little.
My weapon of choice is always oil pastels, by the way. It can't be on usual paper, though, which makes doing pieces like this (WHICH I REALLY LOVE TO DO) rare. I have to do it on a specific paper board, otherwise it just won't come out right. ><
I don't know the brand, unfortunately, I just know that my art teacher in high school always got it.

Half of my Drawing 2 class last year was nothing but oil pastels. I ended up having so much fun with those....reminds me that I should pull them out of my portfolio and upload a lot of them. My pride and joy. Kinda. That thing is like....30x40 inches, it was insane. IT LOOKS SO BAD NOW BUT I LOVE IT

Jeeze, now I'm starting to think of people's characters in terms of fleece animal hats. XD
